What is a made-to-order product?

A made-to-order item is produced only when an order is placed, ensuring that it is crafted specifically for you. Our made-to-order approach is part of our revitalizing fashion initiative, which guarantees zero waste production and aligns with our commitment to sustainability.

All garments are created in our London studios. Once your order is confirmed (usually within 24-48 hours), it takes 7-10 days to construct the garments. This highly personalized experience includes maintaining close communication throughout the process and sharing behind-the-scenes imagery as your garments are being created. Learn more about our Made-to-Order approach here..

What is the process for an order?

  1. Order is placed on the website. At this point your card is not charged.
  2. Order is confirmed when payment is processed. Please allow 24h - 48h.
  3. Our studio begins making your order. This can take between 7 - 10 working days.
  4. As a highly personalised experience, we will keep a close dialogue throughout the process and share behind the scenes imagery as your garments are being created.
  5. Lastly, you will receive the shipping details with an estimated delivery date. For UK delivery next working day and Europe between 2-3 working days.

Can I cancel my order?

Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible on contact@lorebuta.com and we will try our best to cancel your order before delivery.

How do I track my order?

Once your package has been dispatched, you will be sent your tracking details via the email you ordered with. 

What countries do you ship to?

Currently we ship in the UK and Europe.

Which carrier do you use?

For both UK and Europe orders we use DHL Express services. 

Will I need to sign for my delivery? 

Yes. Proof of delivery is necessary as orders are delivered to the address but may not necessarily be given to the named Receiver personally (ie: if there is a concierge).

When is dispatched my order? 

We offer made-to-order pieces that are crafted in London with love and care by one of our highly skilled makers. Once your order is confirmed, pieces take a maximum 7 days to be constructed and delivered.

For Europe do I need to pay custom duties?

Orders shipped international are shipped on a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) basis. This means that all relevant import taxes and duties are accounted for by Lore Buta.

What if something is wrong with my order?

What if I don’t receive my order?

You can track your order with the tracking number we email you upon shipment. If your carrier was unable to deliver your parcel, you should receive a delivery note with further instructions.

Alternatively, there may be a delay with customs. If you need help with your shipment status, please email us on contact@lorebuta.com so we can try and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

How I request a return?

Our garments are Made-to-Order in London with the highest attention to detail. Due to the nature of our production process, we cannot accept returns. We adhere to the values of the slow fashion movement and mindful consumption, ensuring each of our garments is carefully crafted just for you. Do you offer exchanges?

We are unable to accept exchanges. However, at our discretion we may offer size alterations if applicable to your purchase. Please email us at contact@lorebuta.com with any queries.

What if I cannot find the size I need?

Currently, we offer sizes ranging from 6 to 12. However, if you require a different size, please don't hesitate to contact us at contact@lorebuta.com.

We understand that each individual's needs vary, and we strive to accommodate as many as possible. However, due to production limitations, we're unable to offer more sizes at the moment. Nonetheless, we're always open to feedback and suggestions to improve our offerings in the future.

How do I use a promotional or discount code?

Discount codes can be entered at checkout when you place your order.

Do you offer products at sales?

Every product we create is unique and made-to-order, crafted specifically when an order is placed. Unlike many brands, we sell directly to you without adding big mark-ups or using middlemen, allowing us to avoid unnecessary costs associated with traditional retail mark-ups. By keeping our margins smaller, we do not offer sales. However, we do offer a one time discount for new clients who subscribe to our newsletter.
