Loredana Buta is the founder of Lore Buta.

With over a decade leading digital transformation projects for global brands, and after immersing herself in fashion through formal studies at UAL, Loredana launched Lore Buta to bring a long-standing creative passion to life.

The idea came from a personal need: most resort-wear felt either too serious and polished, or too effortless — designed for adults in a way that left no room for playfulness or bold self-expression. She wanted more. She wanted fashion that could elevate sun-kissed moments, that made her feel confident, joyful, and truly herself — not restricted by age or outdated norms.

“Age shouldn't determine what we can and cannot wear — that mindset feels limited and severely outdated,” says Loredana.

That’s how Lore Buta began: with a desire to create pieces that reflect your best self — mini dresses you can twirl in, vibrant colours, feminine silhouettes, and charming details like the brand’s signature bow.

Lore Buta is a natural extension of Loredana’s creative vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and values. She believes in creating with purpose, not excess — where craftsmanship is celebrated and transparency is a priority. She values fair pay, high-quality fabrics, and ethical production standards.

Her mission? To design pieces that make women feel confident, radiant, and endlessly free — wherever the sun finds them.

Originally from Romania, Loredana now lives in London with her husband. She draws inspiration from both the city's vibrant energy and the luxurious, sun-drenched destinations she escapes to — places where she reconnects with herself and the spirit of the brand.
